    Depends.

Do you like the 2 world championships Corrales won while beating Castillo, Casamayor, Manfredy and Freitas in different weights?

    Or

Cuevas' title reign at 147 where he beat Shields, Clark, and Espada?

no competition here. Cuevas was great. Corrales was a very good fighter. You should have put this thread in the classic section. This sections has younger guys who will vote more for Corrales since they don't remember Cuevas. What I liked about Corrales was his fighting spirit.

Funny thread. Like asking who is greater Mike Tyson to Tyrell Biggs! Corrales was overrated!

Actually a very good thread rare in general IMO Cuevas was the better fighter and more accomplished. Corrales was exciting and his fight against Castillo was among the best I dont really bother rating fighters anymore it's subjective to begin with I'll just say both were fun to watch.

For the record though Cuevas was the better fighter, though not the more entertaining one for whatever that's worth.

he didn't have to be!!! If it was a war and he was hitting his opponent he knocked them out!!!! Cuevas is like a 10 rated fighter and Corrales is like a 4. Why have this poll???

It's so easy to get emotional and lose all perspective.
Chico was entertaining but he's not in Cuevas' league.
Next we'll have Arturo Gatti/Kostya Tzsyu.
Let's keep it real guys.We love great entertainers who died tragically young but there's no need to lose our grasp on reality.

Tell me about all these Hall of Fame and P4P fighters Cuevas beat? Corrales actually beat two of them.

I dont mean to insult you but there 2 different time periods learn the history of boxing and Corrales though exciting and fun to watch did not accomplish as much ..it's really not even very debatable it's just the truth.

Freitas and Casamayor I wouldn't exactly call Hall of Famers.

Casa was P4P and so was Castillo. And I think Castillo will get into the HOF

Castillo won't get in the hall of fame. Casamayor is doubtful but more of a chance than Castillo.

15-2 edge for Cuevas. When I saw this poll this is what I thought the results would be.
