I would say Tito because simply because he is #1 with Morales being #1a

Erik was more versatile than Tito but Trinidad really gets underrated on this board.....It's like when Tito's name is mentioned, people always think about the Winky Wright fight and Tito was LONG GONE as a major threat by then.

But as far as styles, Tito was the closest thing I've seen to Alexis Arguello in that he was actually a sharp shooter, very accurate to go along with his devastating power.. It was something about his Tito's "aura" that really captured me.....I almost look at Tito as having a little smoother style than Morales.

When he defeated Blocker he was 20 and I was 16 and I followed him ever since...Just been a great ride watching Tito and Erik all these years, and I don't have anything negative to say about either....

When you think about it, who in the past 10-15 years, who has constantly given you GREAT fights, it's them two.

These 2 fighters are the "ballsiest" fighters of the past 20 years.....

Absolutely fearless and you can honestly say they didn't duck anybody.....

They both fought fighters who they KNEW could make them look bad and they fought them anyway (Raheem and Winky Wright).

Put it this way, Larry Merchant NEVER had a bad word to say about any of their fights.:yep

    Great Idea for a thread!

I've always connected the two due to their similiar styles and ballsy attitude but never even thought about who was greater!

PFP I give the slight edge to Morales!

i'd say tito had a little more talent p4p and that morales had a little more heart p4p

having said that both men had HEARTS of LIONS
it's being nitpicky trying to distinguish between two absolute warriors

Can't we just call it a draw?

    They're both too good.
