a name is a name ia a name ... when that name is in prime or close to it ... and when that name is well outside of that ... then you have 2 completely different conversations ..... context magoo, context .. who ya fought and when you fought them ... Anyway, that is how see it ..
we can disagree .. have a great saturday night magoo

You want context ? I’ll give you context. Mayweather was constantly moving up in weight to fight bigger stronger and younger men than himself. How’s that for context ? What are people like you pissed about ? That you didn’t get to see a mayweather vs Klitschko fight ?

which Klitschko btw? because I have a problem with both of them as well actually .. now that you mention it
In an INDIVIDUAL sport like boxing .. being King of the mountain by yourself looking down .. IS completely different than standing there equally sharing it with someone else .. admirable they didn't fight each other BUT since they didn't fight each other, their historical standing SUFFERS BIG TIME because they didnt fight the best available ,, same as Mayweather didnt .... again context magoo, context

and cry me a river .. Hearns was all over the map fighting everyone .. and pac went up more and fought the best available also ... may didnt

May started as a super feather and topped out at Junior middle. And fought until he was forty. Hearns lost twice to Barkley and didn’t win as many title fights. May fought pac and beat him. Itwasn’t enough. May fought Canelo and beat him. It wasn’t enough. I don’t know what you want.

this is a NoNeck comment .. you're better than that .. the fight was for 2010 . not 2015 ,, Hearns was WAY more active than May so it is different ....
btw, I like Pac a lot.. I like how he was active and took on all comers .. May didnt imo.. But I have always maintained that May does have the style adv. over Pac , no matter what year they fight in .. and for that he should be the favorite .. so its not like I'm a Mayweather hater .. I have voted, defended him. in many other threads ... I have ... he didn't challenge himself to be the best like many others did,, yet he claims he is ... doesn't jive with me

Fair enough but I don’t think there’s enough basis for calling him a cherry picker.

Hes got the same damn problem Roy Jones has .. Roy was at 168 for 2 years and had PLENTY of opportunity to fight better guys and in general .. the funny thing is , ,RJJ probably wins them ALL .. same as MAYWEATHER .. if these guys took on the better fights and challenged themselves more and won .. they are both EASILY top 15 ATG's imo.. There is too much history in this sport with GREATS who have better resumes imo .. and for that both RJJ and Floyd will never be top 20 ATG's imo .....

but as you say FAIR enough .....
