Greater Heavyweight - Langford or Liston ?

    Langford wouldnt give the horse much to be happy about.

    I could honestly say that as a finisher Langford was sweeter than Liston.

    Or Dempsey.

    Or Louis.

    Langford has a much better resume, and was far more proven in tough fights against great heavweights.

    I dont see any justification for ranking Liston above him.

    I agree with this/ Langford defense vs a long hard jab would be a problem. Still I think Langford could give Liston a very hard fight, and possible win if Liston's intangibles come into play.

    Langford was very stong for his size.

    On what basis would a sentient human being declare Harry Wills as a top 15 heavyweight on head to head abilities and exhibited skills? (I will take film not the hearsay or interpretations of wags who have not partaken of modern heavyweight fistics.)

    Perhaps, top 50 in historical context. Or top 1,050 in ability.
