Considering GGG legitimately wins his fights without having to resort to the type of sleazy **** Ward has all through his career and without having to get a gift decision in his biggest fight of his career... it's Gennady.

It's hilarious how certain turds don't think excessive head butts, elbows, holding, GIFT W's (And that's including Olympics) paid off judges, NEVER fighting out of his backyard and having Weeks watch your back while calling off a fight on a blatant low blow doesn't effect your legacy in the least! Lol

its funny how ruling 2 divisions by the age of 33 isnt favourable to ruling one by the age of 35.

Ward ruled? He was rather quiet at ruling 175. He wont a tournament, but his legacy is just too short. In my view. A little short.

It's funny how immediately retiring before defending your 175 title against the murderers row of that weight class is "Ruling A Division" according to some idiots on here. :wanker While needing corruption to even get that title in the first place.

    Lol!! "Ruling" STFU

somethings short for sure here but it aint ward, Sweetpea. He unified, lineal and took all the scalps apart from bute who collapsed easily to someone he ruled. Ward not just beat, but broke guys like Froch. I've not seen anyone do that to Froch, he clearly didnt want a rematch.

    And thats just ONE division.

If thats not ruled, what is?

The man/lineal Champ in two weight divisions. GGG has yet to become the man of one weight class and will likely never be a two weight world champ.

yeh thats kinda true about 3G. Although he is "probably" the man at MW, he hasnt yet made it cast iron because he didnt beat Canelo the lineal. Personally I would have been happy to call him lineal after he landed three major titles - thats no mean feat and a rarity in boxing these days. The other side of it is that he didnt win two of them in the ring - he only won one of them against an opponent. So one can easily say hes not "lineal" with justification.

That seemed kinda unfair to 3G a year ago, but given he didnt beat Canelo, perhaps its fair in retrospect.

And now of course he getting too old to cement it. Its a shame he left it this late to really put the seal on it. Perhaps hes trying to emulate joe calzaghe in being "the one who left it latest" award. Personally I was happy to call him lineal until he drew with Canelo - after that its a big question mark.

It would be fun if GGG signs a HBO contract next week, then you will see who got more legacy.

If what is on the books is your thing, Ward clearly. All his bull**** and asterisks aside, his resume is fantastic. He did lose that first fight with Kov, but he wrecked him in the rematch regardless of the fouls. I had him going out at #1 p4p based heavily on all those accomplishments and I don't care for him. Now who I would pay money for a ticket to see. That's another story.

What is boxing if not entertainment though. People love watching GGG. Ward can't get a new HBO contract.

If you don't have many fans, then what legacy do you leave?

I'm pretty comfortable calling GGG the winner of that fight and the lineal. The official books will say it was a draw, but I can only give so many shits about what the books say when the official results are scripted.

Its weird how Ward has been applauded all these years for his spoilering(hugging in particular) yet Wlad was being labelled as a scared for doing it.
