Greater legacy now. Ward who just retired, of GGG now?

So after years of arguing strict lineal guidelines against champions he dont like, and holding Golovkin to them in this very thread, Dino the Cuck boasts that Ward is lineal of 175 just because... lol.

 

Apparently Stevenson is getting Zsolt Erdei'd right out of existence. The real question is when poor dino had the change of heart and erased SuperPimp's legitimacy. He'd always maintained it was Kovalev ducking Stevenson, the true champ lmao

Yes, I recall him going on and on about how Stevenson was lineal. But now apparently Ward becomes lineal from beating Kovalev, whom he maintained was not lineal forever.

Dino is like a teenage girl instinctly moving from crush to crush. "Lineal" might as well be "Dreamiest....at the moment."

Ward by a long way. Golovkin hasn't got enough top names on his resume besides Jacobs and a draw with canelo. If he beats Saunders, then beats canelo and moves upto SMW and conquers it then I'd say it is even between the pair.

 

I think its safer to call him lineal before, because now the lineal is in doubt becasue he didnt beat canelo

being comfortable AFTER the draw is a bit headinthesand.

Has to be Ward for me. Cleared out the Middleweight division with reletive ease and then after a couple of tune ups went for what is seen as the king of the Light Heavyweight division and beat him twice taking alot of belts with it. Retiring unbeaten.

Is he a bit of a cheat and a dirty fighter? Is he a very boring fighter? Does he get the backing of the officials in his near permanant home town fights? Did Kovalev beat him 1st fight? Does he come across as a bit of a prikk? Its a yes to all of those as far as im concerned but that is just opinion where as his achievments and feats in the sport are nailed down facts and will remain that way in the records of the sport.

I love GGG, amazing career to date but he has devoted himself to this division, he is still yet to clean up the belts and he has yet to do something really stand out like move up a weight and beat a beast of that division. He is a brilliant Boxer, exciting to watch and seems a real nice guy, he is a future hall of famer without a doubt but on paper i feel Ward has achieved more.

 

Ward. And I honestly don't think it's even up for debate.

Winning the Super 6 trumps any win GGG has. And then add Dawson and Kovalev X2 to that. Ward is above GGG.

Golovkin:

- Wins over Geale, Murray, Monroe, Jacobs, and Lemieux. Didn't look so good against Jacobs or Canelo
