Even after last night, Mayweather still has the better legacy. about the only thing Manny can do to pull ahead would be, well, to beat Floyd. That'll never happen.

PBF ... he's never lost a pro fight and never came close to losing one.

Pac has lost 3 fights and drew 2wice ... and if he were to go head to head with PBF then he would lose.

    Pacman.

His resume is solid as opposed to Mayweathers who's whilst good could have been alot better.

you're 100% right.....thats how people judge your legacy as an ATG, not about who you beat or how you beat them, or even about what you've attained and accomplished, but about the the draws and losses

and thats why the ATG list looks like this

    #1.Rocky Marciano
    #2.Ricardo Lopez
    #3.Joe Calzaghe
    #4.Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    #5.Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

    aint that right?

Some argue he lost to Castillo and though he won VS DLH, he didnt exactly "dominate" him.

Sure PBF may beat Pac H2H but will PBF beat Hopkins H2H? PBF won his first title at SFW...Pac at Flyweight. There's the difference.

    Well put.

PBF has to be drooling at the prospect of taking on Pac. If he thought Hatton looked good being made to come back up to 147, how great does a guy who started out at 106 pounds then have to appear?

This is not even close. Yet, what mayweather has done is quite remarkable. But, the guy is known to cherry pick and avoid the top fighters in his division. But, floyd should still fight pacman and prove a lot of nay sayers wrong on not classifying him as an all-time great.

The recent victory of Pacquiao over dela Hoya has changed the whole landscape. It's Pacquiao who has greater legacy.

Floyd handpicked his opponents. He did not fight these guys to prove his real worth ---- Margarito, Williams and perhaps Cotto.

Factoring the losses of a fighter to another does not make sense.
It should be on a one-on-one thing and how the win was executied.

Floyd nearly lost to Oscar. (SD)
Pac schooled and stopped Oscar. (TKO9)

Pac has better point on this one.

While PBF maybe the better boxer.. I will now say that PACMAN has the greater legacy compared to Floyd.
