    Very interesting, did not know that. I guess on paper it would seem that Zarate would be the favorite due to his more impressive looking record (52-0).

    Apologies for being pedantic Richard, and you're so hot on stats that I suspect it was just a typo - Zarate's record going into the Gomez fight was even more impressive than you state, being 52-0 with 51 KO's. An amazing record for such a low weight fighter.
