Greater Victory: SRL over Hagler, or Duran over Barkley?

    yeah the oddsmakers put a realistic objective view on it. Hagler and Hearns was 7-5 in favor of Hagler, and it worked out pretty well. It was a war but the champion won.

    SRL over Hagler I'd say, but then I felt he rightfully won. If you happen to think not, then that kind of settles the issue I guess. Duran-Barkley was remarkable though, given the stage of his career Duran was in (the old, worn, bloated Middleweight stage, that is).

    Not really......Depends on when they were beaten to a certain extent.

    Leonard/Hagler.

    You can't compare Hagler and Barkley, please. Even if we're talking about an old Hagler, he was the active Middleweight champion.

    I like Barkley, I think he was very good, but the fact remains without Hearns on his resume he was not great. I like Barkley though and think he had a great fighting spirit and heart. But I heard that fight was signed and I thought, Duran will beat him.
