Greater win: Pac's over Cotto, Floyd's over Corrales, or Foreman over Moorer?

Manny winning his 7th division belt
Floyd's white-wash victory over the #2 130 lber in the world
George's one-two KO victory over Michael Moorer to become the oldest man to win the HW title?

Foreman's win over Moorer is probably the second greatest heavyweight victory besides Ali's over Foreman.

Foreman's win over Moorer was mentioned by Lampley when Pac defeated Cotto. Of course, Foreman's win was a win for the ages (retired old athlete coming back to beat young champ). The only other comparison I can think of in any sport at the moment was Jimmy Connor's run at the 1990 US Open at age 39.

BTW, of the 3 boxing choices, I believe Foreman was the only big underdog (against Moorer).

Corrales had alot on his mind... He was prison bound! I also loved Diegos style but he was over-rated! Gatti, Corrales were exciting but they were C fighters... Floyd didn't prove much by beating them! IMO :hat

In my opinion, it is not close - Foreman.
That was a HISTORIC win, not just a great win like Cotto or Corrales.

Corrales beat Casamayor, Freitas (unbeaten), Garcia (unbeaten), Castillo for the lightweight belt, and dominated Manfredy.

    Overrated fighters don't do that.

Corrales was the 2-1 fave, and Pac was the 2-1 fave. Foreman was a big underdog.

It was complete domination. For the entire duration of their highly-anticipated showdown, Floyd Mayweather Jr. used his speed and defense to thoroughly outclass previously unbeaten Diego Corrales. When it was over, Corrales had been knocked down five times in less than ten rounds, the only times in his career that he had touched the canvas. While the fight failed to generate even a fraction of the excitement that was expected, it was nonetheless a dazzling showcase for Mayweather, Jr. [/SIZE]

. He failed to make weight on his first attempt, scaling two pounds over the junior lightweight limit. An hour later, after some downtime in a sauna, Corrales made the weight. By the time the bout began, Corrales had rehydrated to the tune of 146 lbs., although some of that weight could be attributed to a large club sandwich Corrales was seen scarfing in his dressing room a few hours before fight time. Once the fight began, Corrales appeared lethargic and later in the bout, his skinny legs frequently buckled under Mayweather's pinpoint accuracy.

the historical significance alone gives foreman the edge. add to it the fact that he knocked a prime michael moorer out with one punch while down on the scorecards and that elevates the win to epic proportions.
