Greater win: Pac's over Cotto, Floyd's over Corrales, or Foreman over Moorer?

Yeah and a 45yr old took the 0 from a 26 year old champ who had 30 KOs in 30 bouts (altho Corrales had a good KO rate too it must be said) and hardly anyone gave Foreman a chance

He died 6 years later and was in some real wars with other great boxers. I dont think that one loss ruined him or in any way contributed to his death - but yes he was a great fighter RIP

Corrales, imo, is a better fighter p4p than Moorer and Cotto, with Cotto being more debatable. Both Chico and JLC are almost criminally underrated. The only knock I can put on that win for Floyd is that Chico knew he was going to prison after the fight, and that had to have affected him in a negative way. Wasn't a good night for him at all.

what the **** kind of moron puts Corrales on the same level as Gatti, and what the **** kind of moron would have either one as a C class fighter? Chico was A+, Gatti at his best was a pretty solid ****ing champ with some big names on his resume and at least a B+, A-.

I'd agree with this generally that they are in no way shape or form C level fighters, however I feel you've slightly overrated both men. I'd say Corales is A maybe A- and Gatti at a B+ arguably a B.

Fair Golf isn't exactly a sport for the young man but very few win majors past 40. And yer it's not liked Favre's ever stopped playing, but he did have that horrible season with the jets the year before so it was still incredible, but AP was the driving force behind that offense and there's just no debate in it. I can't really think of any other examples to be honest except maybe Steve Redgrave at the Sydney olympics whilst being a diabetic, although it was more dependent on his other team mates rather than the individual.

LOL--I thought if you were ahead on the scorecards that KO's and TKO's don't matter.

    Sorry--couldn't resist

Foreman: at over 40 years old came and beat a younger heavyweight champion. Its such a historic win people still talk about it today. And the odds were heavily against him. even though i dont know how he KO'd Moorer that punch looks like it wasnt even thrown with intention to me.
Mayweather: 2nd best win of the three because he was fighting one of the top guys in his division and p4p while the odds were almost even.
Pacquiao: i think it would have been better to put the Barrera or Ledawba (however its spelled) instead. This was a catchweight fight where COtto didnt even have a trainer and even though slightly Pacquiao had the odds in his favor.

  12. Foreman will be most remembered. Boxing folklore-wise it was an atg moment.

Mannys career got a whole lot more interesting that night, his career as a whole is phenomenal but Foreman's win will be remembered as the greater win.

As for Corrales, it's a highlight in Mayweather career but other than that I don't see how it's remembered that much. Top p4p guys are white washed every now and again, his win was great in the sense it would be in a boxing science book before a history book.
