    Yeah thats what a guy at my old gym said...Tarver is actually one the greater amateurs ever.

    Kostya Tszyu was a pure badass!!

    Still is a pure badass.

    But other then that I heard every single one of Freitas amateur fights ended in KO.
    Don't know much else.

    I've heard Fernando Vargas had a great amateur career. Of course it was Lampley that said that so... lol

    Agreed, KT was a phenomanel amatuer. I am sure some of the cubans that I have never heard of though would probably be better from an amatuer perspective.

    You would be hard pressed to find a more complete and devastating machine than the 1983- 1987 version of Cuba's ANGEL ESPINOSA. As far as most dominant for a weight class..NOBODY ran a weight class like Mark Breland did at 147 in the first half of the 1980's
