***Greatest Boxers from your region*** Post your top 3, p4p list to follow!

    I see a thread on the general about greatest boxers in a seclected country, and I thought I'd start one about Britain, but just a bit more localised.

    So, who are the greatest boxers to come from the area in which you live? Let's try and make it as local as possible (so everyone from London has to narrow it down to North, East, South, West, etc etc). Those from smaller cities (ie Manchester) can incoperate the entire city if they wish.

    Draw up a list of 3 names, and see which area has produced the greatest boxers in Britain (and Ireland for all you Team Ireland bredrin) has seen.

    So, from the East End of London:

    Ted Kid Lewis
    Jack Kid Berg
    Lennox Lewis

    Top class talent from the East End there :happy

    EDIT: I'll keep track of these lists and do a p4p list when we have a few more come in. I'll post where the boxer comes from as well, so we can determain which area has produced our greatest fighters

    one of the most technically sound light heavies of the last 40 years and one of the best bantams to never win a title of all time, mixed it with three of the finest, and pushed two of them all the way

    he was, he is my number one of the murderers row (of that era), although I do rate Burley as being the best of them if you get me, Burley was naturally smaller and therefore I rate what he was able to do with naturally larger men such as Moore etc very high

    but regarfdless of that, I have Bivins at number one of them in terms of what they did/achieved etc, a resume thing.

    debatable though. Shout out to Lloyd Marshall
