I won't go so far as to say its the greatest Boxing book, but Punch Lines, by Phil Berger, is great, great read! I would recommend this to any Boxing fan!

Corner Men by Ronald K Fried is a fascinating take on the lives and thoughts of some of boxing's most famous trainers.

    I'd recommend -
    Unforgivable Blackness by Geoffrey Ward.
Hands of Stone by Christian Guidice.
Ali; Life and Times by Thomas Hauser.
McIlvanney on Boxing by Hugh McIlvanney.
    All excellent reads.

I've only read Dempsey's "Championship fighting". A bit dated and more of a how too but interesting. Kelly Pavlik has a new one coming out. Be the first kid on your block.........:D

Just read Dark Trade by Doug McRae. Excellent book written from a South African journalist living in Londons POV but covers Tyson, Toney, DLH, RJJ as well as Eubank, Watson, Naz, Bruno etc. Some quality "Lights Out" moments in there

In the red corner a great read about an english guy who goes to cuba to try and arrange afight between a prime Tyson and Felix Savon.
Gives a good insight into the set up of cuban boxing and meets some ex cuban boxers.
    Cant remember the author..
