Yes it does, but as we all know people on here like to call close decisions "robberies" to push their own agendas.
On Dirrel and Froch, that was not a robbery. To beat a champion you have to beat him, not run and hold.
Watching the fight was about as entertaining as putting cigarettes out on my tongue, by Holyfield vs. Valuev was a robbery if I've ever seen one. Espn had the bout scored 118-110 for Holyfield...but no one raise much of a stink because most of them had been calling for Holy to retire for years before that fight. And frankly, they would have looked like idiots if they had.
And to win a fight,U need to LAND punchs on your OPPONENT not the AIR!! Froch def whoop the airs ass thats no question, but not the ass that matters which is Dirrells!!
if it could go either way, then the champion should retain the title. besides, one guy gets sat on his ass, get his nose busted, made to look like garbage, and can only land low blows and rabbit punches and he wins just cause he missed the most punches. yeah, he's a really won the fight.
You do not win professional fights by backing up for 10 rounds and throwing 20 punches. The fight was not even that close.
Not a good list most of these fight were close fights that could have gone either way. I only see 2 or 3 real robberies on the list Casa-Cruz Lewis-Holyfield
1 - If that is number five on the writers list of "greatest robberies of the last decade" then he/she obviously does not watch enough boxing. 2 - How the hell is that in front of the Casmayor v Cruz fight? 3 - How is that in front of the B-Hop v Taylor fight? 4 - Where the hell is Ottke vs Reid? 5 - Actually where the hell is at least one Ottke fight?
then what's your perspective on clottey vs. cotto and calzaghe vs. hopkins. hopkins was the champ and kicked calzaghe's ass but calzaghe just threw more punches? he certainly didn't beat the champion like you say a fighter should to be the champion.
Hopkins, beat his ass . He did for one round. What did he do the rest of the fight? Calzaghe, clearly beat the champion. He had Bernard backing up and reeling throughout and faking low blows.
