I'm surprise less people voted for Leonard-Duran. It might be a generational thing since most people on these boards weren't around to watch it or be fans of these fighters.

In terms of excitement and high-quality fighting, Pacquiao-Morales has to be up there. These were two ATG fighters going at it.

A poll like this is similar to the one ESPN did to determine the Century's Greatest Athlete and came up with Michael Jordan as #1. Its hard to determine something when those voting have only seen the most recent competion.
Supposedly Zale-Graziano was incredible but how many of us watched them? In twenty years the next generation will insist that the most recent matchup that happened the day before was the greatest ever.

By the way- Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders were better all around than MJ.

Zale/Graziano is supposed to be the best ever from people who saw it. As far as I know though no footage of their first 2 fights is known to exist.

What I have seen I would say Marquez/Vasquez based on back and forth wars. Followed closely by Barrera/Morales.

Ali/Frazier easy with it comes down to importance but the 2nd fight was not as good as 1 and 3.

Christ, I think the 3 votes for Leonard-Duran just shows the knowledge of your average general forum poster.

    MAB vs Morales

The story behind it, the rivalry, the skills, the legacies, the greatness of the fighters involved, and the fact that i love morales

Next would be a toss up for me between Vasquez vs Marquez or Gatti vs Ward... the others dont really get me as emotionally involved so therefore they dont carry as much weight, amazing, no doubt.... but not on the level as the ones above TO ME personally.

Yeh its a tricky pick. I put Ali/Frazier but mainly because of huge historical significance. In terms of excitement, or what I would want to put into the DVD player to see it would be Marquez/Vazquez without a doubt followed by Barrera/Morales

There was only one good fight.

The rematch was alright, but Duran quit disgracefully.

The rubber match, when both guys were well past their prime, was ****.

In the entertainment & High skill P4P showings, this Trilogy was the Greatest. You can watch all the rounds of all three fights & none of them are Boring.

Vazquez & Rafa was all action but not as high quality standard as Both EM & Pac.

    MAB-EM - only 1 & 3 were good. Fight 2 not much action.

Gatti-Ward- Good fight but between 2 B fighters.

Holy-Bowe is Good too, but Bowe is not really a Great fighter.

ALi-Frazier the most significant but not as entertaining as the little guys.

SRR-Duran - only one fight is good

As far as 3 round fights go:

    Liles-Littles 2 > Hagler-Hearns
