Hamed's against Alicea and Robinson weren't too bad either. Only a two punch combo but top quality, Barrera - left uppercut to bring the hands up and then left hook to the body, fight over. I think it was against Benavides but I'm not sure.
The greatest ever IMO was Ali's combination off the ropes to KO George Foreman. It was like he just woke up and laid out the perfect combination to KO George with a spare punch to be thrown but he didnt even need to.
Roy Jones Jr - Take your pick, but I like the one he finished Pazienza with his footwork to be able to throw those punches was outstanding.
the combonation of age .. gun shells .. and ignorance that finally puts floyd where his daddy is .. a cripple hasbeen loud mouth
Mayweather's beatdown of Gatti... so many beautiful combos in that fight from Mayweather. The way his punches flowed from his head to his body and back was just gorgeous. At first I was laughing at the beatdown, then it started to get sad. So much so, I just wanted someone to stop the fight and halt the carnage.
When i think about combinations that were effective i always think about when a (IBF Stripped champ) Mike Spinks took on a dangerous Gerry Cooney witha bunch of demoralising hooks and uppercuts . That final flurry was so hurtful that Gerry almost submitted .. Mike looked so relieved that the bout was over at the end and it paid testiment that even when caught in the headlights he was prepared to go all out to make a statement to everyone who wanted him stripped of his IBF belt ... I liked Spinks for that, he was one to be respected......
[YT]r6d0WOk-QuU[/YT] THIS WAS ANOTHER GOOD ONE, for people who think that Glen Johnson wouldve beaten a prime RJ, here is a video that proves that pressure alone doesnt beat Roy Jones either. Dude in his prime was a freak of nature man.
How on earth did I forget that? That was such a powerful moment. One second Ali is laying back against the ropes and looking sluggish, the next second he explodes off them and his hands are like lightning. Foreman stumbled like a drunk before he finally hit the canvas, and I remember that spare punch, too -- the fist was cocked but never thrown.
Great Norris vid. Most people forget how great he was very underrated fighter with a mean streak a mile long.
