Hi guys first post in classic section , go easy on us hahah .was watching Castillo vs corralles 1 last night for 100th time, what a comeback from corrales was trying think of other fights where ether fighter massive behind on scorecards pulls off knockout or like Castillo fight he looks as if getting the ko win in that particular round and it gets turned around dramaticly in same round
Marciano-Walcott I-September 23, 1952. Marciano gets floored for the 1st time....gets cut...blinded for 3 or 4 rounds after liniment gets into his eyes. JJW is punching the s**t out of Marciano...Rocky is behind going into the 13th round on all scorecards...looks to be headed for his first defeat....when suddenly...'BANG!!!"....he throws the best right hand ever....KO's Walcott...and becomes the new Heavyweight Champion Of The World! Great fight!!
Agreed! Who could imagine the outcome of the fight after seeing Archie being knocked down three times in the first round?
http://www.*******.com/thirty-years-later-weaver-vs-tate-remembered--26520 Tate/Weaver. Tate was way ahead when Weaver KO'd him with under a minute left in the 15th round.
When I saw the thread, this was the FIRST fight I thought of! Sidebar: as a Patterson lover he put a whoopin' on Durelle twice. Sorry, just love my boy!
