JMM could be labelled as one of the most gutsiest counter-punchers of all time.
It's rare to have that :good

    I would say Marvin Hagler.

Also I thought Sanchez was more of a boxer-puncher, but I can always learn.

Vitali is probably the least orthodox counter puncher ever.

    Edit:James Toney anyone?

How would a fight between Sanchez and Mayweather (the 130 lbs version) go?
Two counter punchers can be a very boring fight but it can also give a lot of sparks like Vitali-Sanders.

Dick Tiger - Marvin Hagler would probably just be an "ok" fight.

Mayweather, Toney, Whitaker, Duran was a great counterpuncher. Marquez is a beast. Sanchez is a good counterpuncher, but I would rate these guys counterpunching abilities above his. Personal opinion though. Tyson could counter well, as could Ali.

One of Chris Eubanks successes in his career was his counter punching style. Not often the come forward aggressor, but an excellent counter puncher.
