    This is a thread devoted to the great profesional fighters who have hailed from Cuba.

    I will leave it up to you if you want to take into acount some great amateur Cuban fighters but lets keep a strong focus on the great profesionals that Cuba has produced, and what a bunch they are.

    I'd give the other 3 the clear edge both in terms of resume and skill-set based on what film I've seen of the 4 of them(though admittedly less of Chocolate and Rodriguez than Napoles and Gavilan).

    I think Kid Chocolate and Kid Gavilan were the two greatest Cuban professionals of all-time.

    If I was to compile a list of the top 40 fighters pound-for-pound of all-time, I'd expect both to feature in it.

    How about Florentino Fernandez? Maybe he wasn't ever considered a great fighter but he sure had explosive power in those fists and did provide us with alot of exciting fights throughout his career.
