I could label a picture of myself ‘King of England’ and try to sell it on eBay. Doesn’t mean I can walk into Buckingham Palace and take the throne.

Yes, Armstrong went to the hospital and got stitched up. He also won the fight by knockout. And he defended again within less than 2 months iirc so the cut didn’t keep him out of action for long.

No one is saying he wasn’t a very, very good fighter. He wasn’t the best lightweight or welter in the world.

Which fights are you claiming he didn’t lose that he did? Ambers beat him according to the judges, AP and UPI. Armstrong stopped him. You say he lost two to Angott that he actually won so what’s the other one?
