People pick Wlad over Vitali? Wtf. Vitali was very crafty and actually used his height. No hugs and ****

That has more to do with his height than his actual defensive skills.

One guy everybody forgot about. Sultan Ibragimov.
Besides occasional jabs Vladimir could barely land any significant punch on this dude.

Wladimir for sure. Some haters are so blind, they dont want to admit and see how good defence he have. And NO it was not only because clinches, but because he fight tall, hes movement and that he perfectly stay in the right distance.
He have 67 matches not 2 or 3, to cry about the clinches.
And i do think Wlad regress when Great Steward passed away. Prime Klitschko was a monster !!!

    Jack Johnson

He revolutionized defensive tactics for all boxers, not just a HW who showed some defensive skill.

He measured range, was great at clinching and inside fighting during, moved away well, had great durability, stamina, and punch resistance... He had and did it all.

    Read the thread title.

    Wladimir defense >>>> Vitali defense

    Wladimir offense >> Vitali offense

Jimmy Young of course, you fruit flies. He makes Chris Byrd look like Tex Cobb.
