    I agree, for I was there ! You could cut the tension prior to the fight with a knife...Two unbeaten heavyweights,one a braggart, the other a tough modest banger. This FOTC,and the return match between Sugar Ray Robinson and Randy Turpin at the Polo Grounds were TWO super fightnights that I attended. ...And I wasn't cheated !!!

    Leonard-Hagler meets almost all criteria except for the important fact that many dont consider it a great fight. SRL BROUGHT IT against Benitez, Duran, Hearns and theyre all celebrated classics.
