The one that jumps to mind for me is Lewis-Rahman.

    Louis-Schmelling, of course.

The thing that actually got me thinking about this was K9's recent victory against Sechew Powell, actually.

But what are some of the greatest examples of this in boxing history and how would you rank them?

I would say Louis-Schmelling is the best one.

Floyd Patterson v Ingo has to rank as one of the best, especially in the manner of which he was beaten in the first fight.

To a lesser degree, lennox lewis 2nd fight with Rahman. Explosive knockout.

Well Starling avenged a loss without beating the guy who beat him. He lost to Molinares, yet did not fight him again, yet beat Honeyghan easily which was better than had he beat Molinares.

Brown knocked Norris out with a jab in the 4th round. Norris won a clear decision over Brown in their rematch. I'd rather be the guy with the knockout.
