Guzman . . . it's just on the other thread.

His last T/KO win was at bantam wayback 2004.

The way he KO'd Joppy really suggested he has great power as a Middleweight considering not many expected him to win by KO like that. It's just that he ran into two defensive masters in Hopkins and Wright that makes you think so.

De La Hoya is a good example.

He has power at 154 but couldn't put a dent in Sturm, who is not exactly known for the best set of whiskers.

De la Hoya springs to mind straight away.

Also Joan Guzman, he was destroying people at super bantamweight, now at super featherweight he is a boxer as apposed to a destroyer.

Possibly Wilfredo Gomez, he was considerably less effective at 126-130 than he was at 122. It wasn't just his power that decresed as he rose up in weight, he was actually quite a bit worse in every department.

chris eubank when moving 168 upto 200 for the fights against thompson. he still had his granite chin but lacked the power of his prime in the 168 class. people may point to his age at this point but i believe the punch is the last thing to leave a fighter, just look at larry holmes still knockin people out in his 50's

its not that you lose power, but your opponent's can take a better shot because they are bigger
