Rating fighters in their own era. Whose your favorite fighter naming any decade. Same for P4P for any decade. 1980s P4P is Tyson: Unifed the HW title & only one to stop Holmes & Mike Spinks Favorite to watch was Tyson went 19 fights before a decision win. 1990s P4P is RJJ almost untouchable. Even though JT screwed himself losing a billion pounds to make fight, not RJJ fought. He beat a then P4P #1 like exhibition. My favorite fighter to watch was Holyfield Overachiever and under rated, great boxer who preferred to get into a fight. From crushing Douglas, throwing the sink at Forman, escaped a near stoppage by Cooper & reversed it. Stopped Moorer, Mercer, Made Holmes throw up at the end and of course the trilogy: Bowe. Commander Evander my fav. Y2k P4P is Bhop he stopped Trinidad, DLH & UD over Tarver, Wright & Pavlik record # of MW defences. Superb conditioning. Inside, outside game. Boxer, brawler, mauler. Favorite to watch is Pacman pick a fight he's always came to rumble
1960s Muhammad Ali 1970s Muhammad Ali 1980s Roberto Duran 1990s Roy Jones Junior 2000s Manny Pacquaio 2010s Still in progress but probably Floyd Mayweather. Greatest of the last 60 years: Ali /Duran or Duran /Ali Take your pick.
1990s Roy Jones Junior Y2k P4P is Bhop he stopped Trinidad, DLH & UD over Tarver, Wright & Pavlik record # of MW defences. Superb conditioning. Inside, outside game. Boxer, brawler, mauler. Close resume with Duran though! 2000's Floyd 2010's Floyd
2010, not sure, though by 2020, Loma may be the one. But I'll say so far it's Floyd again with best overall skillset P4P. My favorite to watch since 2010 tossup Jorge Linares more active, but I'll go James Kirkland. Forward march, slug. KO or get KO'd. Joel Julio, I think? 2010? Glen Tapia, Alfred Angulo. fought 5 or 6 times in 2011..the year he got starched. inacticve for a few years. For a 1/2 round he gave Canelo some pressure LOL...wow, he got bombed out, but that's what he is kill or be killed.

1960s P4p= Cassius Clay Favorite old reels to watch..Clay again. He toyed with Patterson, Moore and Liston. Beatdown Cleveland Williams, proved he could get up off the canvas against Cooper..proved he could bloody a dude, Cooper again and earned his payday against Doug Jones in a hellatious scrap.
Favorite, but not necessarily P4P #1: 1920s: Harry Greb 1930s: Henry Armstrong 1940s: Archie Moore 1950s: Rocky Marciano 1960s: Joe Frazier 1970s: George Foreman 1980s: Mike Tyson 2000s: Wladimir Klitschko 2010s: Vasyl Lomachenko
2000s Manny Pacquaio 2010s Still in progress but probably Floyd Mayweather
Absolutely NOT, 1980's = SRL, by far. Close resume with Duran though! 2000's Floyd 2010's Floyd
Duran was better than Ali in the 70`s but Ali had more classic fights then, Duran started the 80`s great but faded badly and ruined his rep with ''No Mas'' rematch while Tyson went on to tear the 80`s apart, JC Chavez was pound for pound top of the tree for much longer than Duran during the 80`s.
