Good point but...would the younger version of Ali have gotten up after getting caught by Joe in that 15th round of their first fight. Then, please actually check out that 15th round again from Ali-Frazier 1 and tell me if you think young Ali would withstand all those unanswered left hooks AFTER the knockdown.

I don't know how he did it, but Ali managed to somehow augment his determination and heart to make up for his lack of wheels after the suspension. Two different fighters...

SRR v RJJ would be a definite batte for supremacy at MW. The only reason RJJ isn't mentioned in ALL-TIME GREAT MW discussions is because he didn't fight enough quality competition. That aside, RJJ would be a prohibitive favorite against ANYONE at 160 or 168 in history.

Leonard v Kid Gavilan ...very nice. Hell of a boxing match from two Hall of Famers. No blood and guts routine from these two. Just pure entertainment. Well done.

Do you see similarities in punching and footwork between these two at all? I do, not seen much of Robinson but what i have seen they both seem to throw the same wide, sharp and shocking hooks from below the hip. I think these two fighters most probably had especially powerful legs for boxers.

Btw all my picks were 50/50 for me. Or to put it better, ive no clue who to pick and wouldnt be suprised with something unexpected or spectacular to happen in these fights

    Great contribution. Good matchups here.

Greb v Monzon would be a classic fight at MW. Robinson v Leonard at WW would be another classic, although maybe not as much action as Greb- Monzon. I never get tired of talking about Marciano-Dempsey(all out brawl, although I think the Rock's tendency to start slowly would ultimately be his undoing...
