robinson vs turpin 2 for old school love to see a true champ get back on the horse (so to speak) jones vs paz for me jones looks awesome any of the gatti ward fights to notch
TITO :yep versus Vargas Undefeated champions, unification, multiple knockdowns...What the sport is all about....Some of the nastiest left hooks I've ever seen..
I remember Tyson/Spinks because I was only a kid at the time and my mom taped the fight for me and my brother and we watched it the next day. We were both well annoyed because we thought she'd only taped the highlights!!!
Right, but you digressed from the title of the thread by stating that Cotto became "the man" at 147lbs after beating Judah.
Yep, people often pair Cotto and Margarito together as "tough fighters" in the Welterweight division, but this is a terrible mistake. Cotto actually has a shot against the best, whereas Margarito will get beaten every time he faces a good boxer. Against a guy who just throws lots of punches like Williams, Margarito should have been able to take the fight to him and prevent Williams from getting off so many shots. He couldn't though because of his limited skill set. Cotto will break Williams' body and stop the flow of punches.
I see some people have added Tyson vs. Spinks. I'd go with that one for myself also. People who say Tyson was mentally weak forget about nights like this. When the pressure was turned up and it mattered the most, Tyson came and went to war, scoring a brutal knockout.
