Every now and then in the early to mid 70s Grandstand and World of Sport would screen world title fights from mainly USA but occasionally from other parts of the world, so I saw such fighters as Napoles ( Lewis 1 ) Napoles ( Lopez 1 ) Olivares ( Castillo 1 ) and Monzon ( Bouiteir) and my first glimpse of Lopez, the ref from memory was our own Harry Gibbs, who was quoted " one of the best fight I have ever refereed " when you think of the many fights and great boxers he shared the ring with, high praise indeed. stay safe guys.
