That's so true. I watched Barerra Morales 1 knowing in advance it had been a classic Then i sat down to watch what had been described in Boxing Monthly as "too hard to pick" fight between Diego Coralles and Jose Luis Castillo That's be far the most frenzied any sporting events ever got me. Felt so lucky to have got to witness that as it happened. 12 rounds of absolute war, then the finish of all finishes. Unbelievable :smoke
Really !!! Watching a juiced to the gills CHEAT!! beat on a sick, weight drained, demoralized fighter?? A 100 % Margarito would have kicked the cheaters butt juiced or not
The Chavezite king reaffirms himself of having no unbiased knowledge when it comes Chavez or even Mexican fighters for that matter. Why don't you reiterate your score for that fight of how you had Chavez leading towards the 12th and scored Whitaker/Chavez a draw. You pinche payaso.
How about one in person? :!: Place: Atlantic City Date: Sept. 29, 2007 Combatants: Champion Jermain Taylor vs Challenger Kelly Pavlik for the Middlewt. Championship. Results: Quite an exciting fight, with Taylor scoring the KD in round 2 & Pavlik's terrific TKO victory in round 7. Being a Pavlik fan, being there in the arena watching in AC, it is a night I will never forget. This content is protected
Leonard Hagler Hearns Hagler Berrara Morales 1 Gatti Ward 1 Toney Jirov Those popped to mind right away.
This content is protected OMG! I would have given my right nut to be there that night! ((((((((((GO DURAN)))))))))) :bbb BTW, your age? I'm 62 & have been watching boxing since the D*ck Tiger days of the late 50's!
A fight I had a chance to see live, but passed on, Matt Franklin-Marvin Johnson I. Just a ridiculous back and forth, rock'em'sock em brawl.
On tv: Pacquiao vs Marquez 1, Rios vs Alvarado 1, Bradley vs Provodnikov Mayweather vs Maidana was interesting because after 12 rounds I wasn't sure who was gonna get the call Live: Froch vs Johnson. Good crowd, good competitive fight.... Second is the tragic Mago fight what a war that was
A truly gifted fighter. A smooth boxer and a rough customer when he decided to dog his opponent. His unique ability to switch from orthodox to southpaw seamlessly was amazing to behold
There's just too many of them. Here are a few that come to mind. Toney - Jirov that was a back and forth for the ages Foreman-Lyle, one of the best slugfests ever Vitali - Lewis another slugfest for the ages Barkley - Duran - one of my all time favourite fights, still don't know how Duran was able to take that punishment and win Ali-Foreman - same as above, the shots Ali had to absorb to win were insane Gotti -ward trilogy Hagler - Hearns - while it lasted Chavez - Taylor - what a surprising ending and many more. Long live boxing.
