Nice to see him get a mention, many would say Bob Fitzsimmons in terms of achievement if they think of him like they did when he was a fighter... the Australian.... I personally think Les darcy was... if not the greatest, the most talented and the guy with the least weaknesses... because I see none at all, only plusses in every department, in terms of outright resume and record and awesomeness period it's Young Griffo, his career and reputation is so good I sometimes wonder if he may actually have been the GOAT of the world.... I do think that if he actually trained like most great ones and wasn't drunk off his face in three quarters of his career he would have actually for certain been three times a better fighter and that would surely mean he would now be regarded by all as the best ever boxer period but even so, to go your first 167 pro fights and never be defeated.... it defies description it really does, he used to go some fights without ever copping a single blow to his head, either he only fought guys who were completely blind or his defensive genius was the best of all time. He gets my vote as THE BIGGEST ENIGMA our sport has ever witnessed... of any great name in boxing who has no surviving film footage of a fight I want to see on film IT'S YOUNG GRIFFO, a prime Griffo of course, not the one who fell over before he left the dressing room.

 

I can't see ken lasting the distance with Lynch.
