I think McCallum would obliterate him, personally.

I think Hearns beats McCallum at 154. McCallum was a little too methodical, and barring the Curry fight, not really a one punch guy.

I don't think he does enough work to win the majority of the rounds, nor does he land those huge shots to take out Tommy.

One thing that makes these lists a little tough are stylistic matchups. I pick Mayweather to beat Arguello at 130, Arguello to beat Chavez, but I'm not as confident on Mayweather beating Chavez (at 135 I definitely pick JCC).

McCallum, a Kronk fighter, was the mandatory for Duran's WBA 154 lb. title. Emanuel Steward negotiated for Hearns (the WBC champ at 154) to fight Duran instead. McCallum got mad and left Steward and held a grudge. Steward said it didn't matter anyway, because Duran would've just given up his title so he could have the big fight with Hearns rather than face McCallum.

Hearns-Duran was in June 1984, with Duran being stripped for not fighting McCallum.

Looking it up, McCallum fought for the title vacated by Duran in October 1984. Hearns had just fought Fred Hutchings and was preparing for the Hagler fight in April 1985. After that, he fought just once more at 154, in June 1986. I'm not sure, but I think Hearns was chasing a rematch with Hagler at this time, he had KO'd Shuler at 160 on the undercard of Hagler-Mugabi a couple months before his last bout at 154.

Steward might have chosen that he'd prepare Milton McCrory instead to be the one from his stable that would beat McCallum. McCallum ended up facing McCrory and then talking **** to Steward right after he beat McCrory.

    No, he is not.

Toney himself is much more realistic contender.

I don't know if I'd rate Darchinyan in the top 10 of that weight class.

WAIT!....I thought Pacquiao was the greatest boxer of ALL time and could win any weight class championship if he willed it. After reading posts here and other message boards I now believe that that he is god (having replaced Barack Obama)
