I left out Jorge Ahumada, who I feel should have been crowned lightheavy champ in that shameful robbery vs Bob Foster.
Lopez also came within a hair's breath of outpointing Victor Galindez.

Before this thread dwindles into obscurity I thought Les Darcy deserved a mention

That's an amazing documentary, if anyone has the time to watch it. I didn't know a thing about Darcy before hand and after less than an hour I was firmly convinced he was a P4P great years before the term even existed and was bound for even greater things if his life hadn't tragically been cut short.

I go with Watson and Graham also. I wonder how Watson is doing today.

David Tua had a pretty long career and beat some really good fighters but failed to win a world title.

I would agree he is not an all time great but he was certainly more than capable and did beat some former world champions like Rahman, Moorer and Ruiz. He just couldn't get it done against Lennox. I beleive with his chin and power he would have beaten a lot of champions throughout history.

I don’t see it...maybe an abc strap against another fringe type guy. To me he came up short every time he fought top level comp...I don’t see that changing....but that is why we have this forum, to discuss these things. I just see Tua as a big puncher (which people love) without the skill to be the man.
