I mostly do not watch fights from this century. Most of the fights of this century that I watch are of 80s-90s fighters who were still around.

Chavez vs Taylor, Castillo vs Corrales, Holyfield vs Moorer. I'm sure there are others, but those come off the top of my head.

Your loss and a severe loss of credibility in future opinions if you have not seen.

Maybe so, and I have nothing against those who watch and love the new fights, they're just not for me. Maybe one day I'll check out Corrales-Castillo. I don't entirely avoid new fights though.

Why do you avoid new fights? What is it about them that you don’t like? Your missing out on a lot of great fights in High Definition.

I'm sure I probably have missed some good fights. My reasons for avoiding new fights largely is a combination of things: 1) I generally don't like super small division, esp. not in the later 20th century and not in this one. But getting on track, I don't like new fights for the following reasons: 1) I just don't think most of the fighters of this new century are good, and those are the good ones. I remember my first time watching Fury, and I was very unimpressed. I was expecting something much better despite having low expectations. My other two reasons have nothing to do with the fights/ fighters, but with something else: 2) It seems like most fighters these days are not very sportsman-like and really get into the trash-talking a lot more now. 3) This reason is a little harder to explain, but watching fights from the 30s to the 70s in particular just has this feel all its own, new fights just don't have the right "feel", if you know what I mean.
The Morelocks has pointed out that my credibility is at stake, and actually I have to agree. Since I watch almost all fights from all divisions in the previous century, I will have to also watch my fair share of 2000s fights to legitimately argue on P4P discussions, for instance. I have been gradually getting onto 2000s fights more and more with not just heavies, but also Gatti, Morales, Barrera, Mosley, etc.. Good question my friend.
