Having just come back form a trip to Paris I was intrigued to know who you think the top ten French fighters are? The only ones I see regularly mentioned on ATG lists are Georges Carpentier, well known in the UK for decimating a era of British Heavies, and Marcel Cerdan.
Dont know about a a top ten but the five that come to my head are Cerdan,Carpentier,Thil,Criqui and Ray Famechon.
Not the best but my favorite is by far Mayar Monshipour, IMO one of the most exciting fighters of the last decade never in a bad fight and his fights with Sitchachawal and Nakazato are amongst the best i have ever seen.
