Julian took ALOT of very hard punches before McClellan put him away in their first fight. he was already washed up in the rematch.

id say Terry Norris takes this.

I am seeing some very bad answers here. Mike Tyson glass chinned? Are you kidding me?

    How about Pipino Cuevas

Floyd Patterson. Floyd was a great boxer but his chin wasn't the best.

Popó was KD by Lemuel Nelson, Juan Carlos Ramirez, Chico Corrales (3x), Jorge Barrios (2x) and Barry Jones (a guy with 0 KO in his career).
His heart after the Barrios fight is also questionable.

Lennox Lewis for me, his chin was awful, but he because of his long reach and, not pretty, but very, very useful jab, he rarely got hit.

I wouldn't say Hearns is glass-chinned, he obviously he can take a punch. I think the problem with him was that he was thin in the legs. Hearns had a broad back and a very large frame, but he was thin in the legs. So when a hard puncher hits him, it was easy for him to get off-balance.

I don't see how you can say Lennox had a GLASS chin though.

He got up quickly after the McCall punch, so the stoppage was slightly questionable, and when he fought Rahman he was in BAD condition fighting at altitude - not making excuses, just saying they aren't exactly desvastating knocouts.

But I don't think any of that stuff matters... consider though, that Lewis has taken hard flush punches from Mercer, Tua, V. Klitschko, etc etc, and took them all pretty well. Shannon Briggs hurt him, but he was able to come back from being hurt to knock him out the next round!

Heavyweights hit hard, Lennox didn't get hit ALL that much during his career. I'd say his chin is average after looking at his career in retrospect.

I can't believe people are still saying he had a glass chin.

    And another thing about Lennox:

Lennox hits almost as hard as Tyson? Lennox is one of the biggest punchers in heavyweight history, isn't he? Tyson was a big puncher, but I just can't see how he could hit harder than Lennox.

Also I don't think Tyson's performance against Lennox was a credit to his chin, I was always under the impression that Lennox wasn't really throwing with power for most of that fight because he had hurt his right hand.

Exactly. No question Lewis has to be one of the greatest fighters with a suspect chin.:yep

 So as you get older you chin becomes weaker, stop making excuse, and look at Oliver McCall.
