    I go with Cribb.

    Over Sullivan for the reason alluded to by cross_trainer. Cribb fought all the available challengers.

    Not knowing much about the fighters of that period, I'll go with sullivan.. Weather he fought all the available challengers or not, his dominance and record seems to have trumped pretty much anyone who was around then, but again I don't know that much.
