    Neither fight with Tyson was a title fight?? I feel like I must be missing something really obvious...

    Nope! No titles on the line. Holyfield had the belts. Tyson didn’t fight for a title after losing to Douglas until after his prison time, when he took the WBC belt from Bruno.
    Ruddock went on to fight Lewis in a WBC title eliminator (and British Commonwealth title) , and when Bowe ditched the belt later on it was awarded to Lewis.
