Lewis at no1 for me with Holyfield a very close second.

Holy got the fights he wanted mostly when he wanted (Tyson apart), Lewis didn't but beat every other top name along the way and beat Holy and Tyson when his time come. Whether they were shot or not (Holyfield wasn't as shot as people like to think) he done what he had to.
Lewis' consistency and H2H with Evander trumps Holyfield imo.

Tyson is easily 3rd and at his peak could very well of beaten Lewis and Holyfield, but really i see they chances of beating him being stronger imo.

What Tyson did in the late 80's was amazing and better than anything Bowe and the Klitschkos have done tbh.

Do you really think Berbick was the better fighter than Ali just because his record says he beat him?? Again please connect brain before posting :good

    Lewis
    Holyfield
    Wlad
    Tyson
    Bowe
    Vitali

Vitali-can't rate him higher when he blew the big ones.

    Bowe-Golota spoils a higher rating.

    Tyson-too many big losses

Wlad-If he keeps going, he could end up #2

Holyfield-long, solid, career, but Bowe and Lewis had his number.

Lewis-beat everyone he fought. Could have been a trifle lucky, but must rate first.

Oh, I just meant he might have gotten Holyfield and Tyson at the right time.

But "luck" as a reason to denigrate a man's achievements is no reason at all.

No probs, i thought that's what you were getting at.

You could also flip it and say he was 'unlucky' not to get them earlier. Still, he done what was required.:thumbsup

Aye m8 :thumbsup Tinkerbell Tyson DUCKED Lenny Lion in 1996, by letting his manager Donny King offer Lewis chump change of $13.5million :-(. Why teh hell would Lenny take that bloody crap offer to fight Midget Lisp, when he got $12million to fight "Uncle ****er" Tucker in 93!!:deal As for OG Holy, he should of gave Lewis a title shot in 1997 NOT 1999. Moorer And Vaughn Bean before Lenny Lion?! WTF was that ****!:nut

You did the exact same with your last post :patsch. Honestly people need to realise that any version of Tyson would have lost too Douglas that night. Tyson was 95% of his former self at the very least in that fight. If you watch it, it's apparent from the start that Tyson uses his head in typical fashion lands good shots and looked quick. Douglas showed an iron chin that night and wasn't going to be denied and that's why Tyson lost. Not because he was out of his prime. And if you consider he was, then what kind of ATG heavyweight goes out of his prime at 23? Lewis dicks on Tyson in an ATG heavyweight ranking as does Holyfield.

I think I'll let the moorer fight slide. Just trying to avenge a loss and moorer. Also moorer was coming off a few nice wins against Botha And Bean himself. Although the bean fight was kind of unessesary. However With don king being involved we should be thankful the fights where even made

Its hard to say because a lot has to do with timing, for instance was Tyson prime when he fought Lewis and was Holyfield prime when he fought Lewis, was Tyson prime when he fought Evander.

I thought Tyson had the most impressive look until the exit of Team Cus and in with Team King & co. Lewis has the best wins over Tyson (impressive and Evander (not Impressive) but Lewis also had the 2 KO losses to McCall and Rahman (bad stain) he reversed them but he should have never lost. Also Lewis can call it as he wants but his legacy was calling him to rematch Vitali. Lewis also had the least amount of fights

Bowe last on list (he did win 2/3 vs Evander but Evander also lost to Ruiz and Moorer but beat them as well and also beat Tyson and an Old George F. and Buster D. The Golota fights tarnished Bowe and he got too much, he is last for me.

I would say Lewis but he was fortunate with the timing of his big fights Tyson & Evander and it is a close win and not by a long stretch
