In terms of a two weight champ with a 10 year title reign and never losing, people could vote for him......

I wouldnt but thats certainly a decent legacy, just nowhere near Oscars

:happy I've been making the same point from the first moment I arrived here.

It's the Fanboy Playground. It is utterly ridiculous and totally unjustifiable to say Calzaghe has a greater legacy than De La Hoya, but the biased fanboys will vote for their hero in every poll irrespective of the poll subject. Pathetic.

That would be my list based on their resumes

As a 'legacy' Calzaghe is up at 2 or 3

Wicked power at 126-130, fought an AVERAGE belt holder at 135, and now he's going to fight a guy who has fought the following guys with MUCH MORE power:patsch

BHOP, Mayorga, Tito, Mosley, Mayweather, Quartey, Vargas,

I would be tempted to leave Calzaghe at 4 on legacy - Mosley was a three weight champ (and completely bypassed 140) and though I am not really a big Trinidad fan his accomplishments are considerable.

Beating a shot Jones does nothing for Joe - in fact his resume would have been better had he quit after Hopkins, to be honest. Because he didn't stop Jones, I feel he needs to carry on.
