this thread confirms it. Hoya has a mean resume, win or lose. He fought everybody with the exception of Wright.

So...why does he catch so much **** at ESB?

Yes, he does have a decent legacy. His resume is weak, but he has the zero, he has Ring titles at 2 weights, he has a couple of good wins, he has had a long run of success which, despite the largely poor opposition, is still commendable.

becasue the reason he has such a good resume is only because of money, he didnt deserve all those fights, but boxing is bussiness so they give it to him, plus he has never looked bad in a fight even in a loosing effort, so he brings the most money by a mile and a great challange, and since he is still a good fighter also adds great quiality to other resume.

Calzaghe's legacy is very good, his fighting his very good, and his resume is pretty WEAK.

His legacy is not in the same league as Oscar's though, I just cannot even see the argument for that at all.

As I said earlier, De La Hoya has (1) better resume, (2) more world titles, (3) won titles in more weight classes.

    Can anyone refute this?

Staying undefeated is only of any use if you have consistently tested yourself against the best throughout your career.

Oscar has, Calzaghe hasn't - and I am a JC fan!

Imagine how highly Oscar would be rated if he still had his 0, with the quality of opposition?

Just watch the faces of Trinidad and Mosley in the second fight - and see how surprised they are.

I think that answers your question as to who DLH has beaten!
