    Langford and Fitz .. actually blown up middleweights .. certainly Foster, Spinks was a terrific puncher, Mustafa Muhammad was a monster puncher .. Moorer was big, Saad was big ..

    I don't think any argument against Moore as a puncher is serious .. that said he was so skilled he did not only rely on power ..

    Mustafa is way up there for pure power. If he fought less conservatively he'd have more big stoppages. The vast majority of his ko's aren't on film unfortunately and thru these early times he built up a reputation as a real knockout puncher. The snippets that emerged of him pole axing Eugene Hart showed some serious power and skill and he'd had just 10 pro fights.

    Sorry, I didn't mean to use "boy" as an expression of diminishment. It was meant more an expression of surprise like "oh, boy" or "whew."
