You think too highly of Marquez. His resume outside of Pacquiao is lacking.

Ducked for the majority of his prime

Arguably beat Pacquiao 4 times - that in itself is insane

Floyd felt the need to come in at least 3 division above his old ass

MOVED UP and cleaned out the most stacked division in boxing

Completely changed his style to land the bigger fights. The guy you saw in Pac 3 was unbeatable, but he had to change that all up to land the fights and avoid the corruption

The supreme counter puncher becomes a KO artist. Marquez was a special fighter indeed, one who was always on the B side, and was only ever beaten by a much bigger Mayweather and a running Bradley while well past his best

(John trolls have never seen that disgrace of a fight)

I appreciate you say arguable because it was arguable. Marquez is ATG alone for his Pacquiao fights. But he needs more to be up there with Morales and Barrera. Morales though did convincingly defeat Pacquiao at 130 pounds where Pacquiao was dominant.

He was in fact beaten in his prime by Chris John and Manny Pacquiao. That happened.

H2H I think Marquez is a beast. He would IMO have whooped Hamed.

But he's not the greatest Mexican of his era.

    My Personal TOP TEN

    1. Salvador Sanchez
    2. Julio Cesar Chavez
    3. Ruben Olivares
    4. Kid Azteca
    5. Ricardo Lopez
    6. Carlos Zarate
    7. Marco Antonio Barrera
    8. Lupe Pintor
    9. Miguel Canto
    10. Juan Manuel Marquez

Morales barely misses the Top Ten Rankings.

#1. Sanchez, sadly died at age 23 after 46 fights in 6 years, boasting a 44-1-1 record. Defeated Lopez twice, Gomez, Azumah Nelson...!!!

Man such a hard choice! Well out of the 3, I would choose Morales. Marquez was the one who got me interested in boxing and he's been in the game longer than the 2, Morales and Barrera, but if there was a tournament between the 3 in their primes... I'd probably pick Morales.
(I'm only choosing from the 3. I realize guys like Chavez and Sanchez are much greater.)

This isn't a H2H question. It's about who's greater. And that can only determined by what they did in the ring.

    IMO

    1. Morales
    2. Barrera

    3. Marquez.
