I would have to go Jones as number one and GSP as number two. After that, I'd have to think pretty hard about where the respective greats would rank.
It's subjective and useless, this GOAT status. Igor Vovchanchyn could have been considered the GOAT in the 90's. There's a new GOAT every 5 years it seems.
Jose Aldo is number six. Joe Rogan would say demetrious Johnson.Dana White would say Anderson Silva. They are also wrong.Although in recent years they have sometimes claimed Jones is the best ever but I know that's because he is the company's number one active star.Joe Rogan was constantly hugging Johnson's nuts while he was champ I don't think we'll ever forget that.White was hyping Silva as the best ever before he was even in the argument.
DJ is def up there, top three for me is Aldo, DJ and GSP in any order really. Yeah Rogan and White hype up whoever they want to push but neither are experts I'd say just hype men that'll promote the narrative the company wants.
Hes a complete ******* but overall its probably Jon. Fedors level of opposition wasnt as consistently strong as Jons, whereas GSPs was but he also had two first round stoppage losses and retired early.
