Rogan is just a fanboy who dorks out over fighters. At welterweight when Woodley was champ, many were talking about how Woodly was close to being the GOAT of the division. Then Kamaru took the belt and it was the same story all over. Rogan was part of those people.
I´m sure that we would have heard the same about Edwards, had he defended the belt a couple of times more.

I have been doing extensive research and have concluded that Fedor Emelianenko is the best. I did a lot of math and equations to determine that.

Its a young sport anytime you've got a champion whose on top for awhile GOAT talk in that division is warranted.

I'm not huge on Aspinall, but if Jones finds his testosterone depleted shrivelled nuts and goes on to beat him or even just run him close he'd be a major lock. Trouble with Jones is he's going the PBF route and only taking on guys he knows he has a good chance of beating, and either ageing guys out, or stringing them along in the hope they'll lose to someone else and become irrelevant. That's not the way to a legendary career, whatever the results on paper say.

And Woolley’s title challengers were a grade below the level you’d expect ufc title challengers to be.Although I have to admit when Woolley beat Robbie lawler in an upset I thought to myself I never expected him to become champion and he’s going to have a very short reign.Woodley to his credit made 4 successful defences and was a good champion but
he is not a legend in my opinion.

He is unbeaten since his only loss against Matt Hamill in 2009. In 2018, Jones was handed a 15-month backdated ban for violating the UFC's anti-doping policy. The American was stripped of his light-heavyweight title, having tested positive for a banned substance before his bout at UFC 214 in 2017.

GSP´s Middleweight title is a cherry on top that most careers lack.

He walked away after a controversial win, but years later came back to pick up a belt in his second division. Hard to top that.
