Since you're after some new ones...has Rogan/Sexton being mentioned? (fights 1 and 2).

Remember Lindsay/Appleby being a great fight with a cracking atmosphere in Belfast.

Dodson/Quigley - terrific all-Scouse British title fight with an amazing co-feature in Gethin-Watson.

    1. Hatton vs Tzsyu
    2. Dunne vs Cordoba
    3. Calzaghe vs Kessler
    4. Froch vs Pascal
    5. Moore vs Macklin
    6. Burns vs Martinez
    7. Calzaghe vs Lacy
    8. Khan vs Prescott
    9. Gomez vs Arthur
    10. Groves vs DeGale

I really couldn't seperate the first two, I take it I can't have them joint top?:D I just about sided with Hatton-Tzsyu due to the magnitude of the fight in terms of divisional supremecy.

When you're doing a top ten you can't have joint winners

Appreciate you doing that though, thank you.

Trying to reach 1000 by end of play on Monday. I've reached over 700 now. All contributions welcome.

Glyn Leach has kindly agreed to write the foreword for the book.

Is this 'greatest night' or 'greatest fight' ?

How can Froch/Pascal be a 'great night' for British boxing? Great nights have a significance which transcends the sport. Froch/Pascal meant nothing in the grand scheme of things.

It was a good fight though.

Greatest night but for many that means a great fight. Whatever you deem to be a great night.
