If you were going to put Hearns in, switch him up at JMW, no way he belongs at #1 at WW.

Forgot about Watanabe. That's a good pick.

I liked the pick of Roman as well, I'm simply getting out of the habit of putting Galaxy in there, never felt he deserved it, and I've been getting big into the lower weight classes recently. Watanabe is definitely one I'd choose to outbox Galaxy handily.

Surely must be H2H if he has Joan Guzman as the best super-bantamweight of all-time. Some people might also say Spinks is a joke on his list, but not half as bad as Guzman.

Not sure why Guzman would be on the list H2H either.

That makes two of us. I know Amsterdam loves him, though I've never gotten it really. Good fighter, very talented, but certainly not better than the likes of Gomez or Morales.

How do you think a match between Morales and Gomez would go?

At best, he could be the #4 heavyweight of all time...if he dominates 4 or 5 more years and beats 5 more contenders, cleaning his division.

I think I'm one of few who looks at it from a stylistic standpoint. Most would assume, given how outstanding and flawless Gomez seemed at the weight, that he beats everyone who ever fought there. Looking at it from my standpoint, he got beat by a naturally bigger man in Sanchez at 126, one who could take a punch, counter-punch, dish back in combination, and hurt you. Morales was much the same way. However, Gomez was better at 122 than 126, and Morales would not have the size advantage to that degree at this weight.

Gomez was perhaps an even harder hitter and better finisher than Morales at 122, a more fluid fighter, more technically sound, but Morales has the height and reach edge, along with the ability to take some of Gomez's best punches and dish em back. If the fight got down to a brawl, I'd take Gomez to land the cleaner shots, but I also think Morales could hurt him. I think Gomez was a better pure boxer, but Morales's edges in length could give Gomez trouble in that regard as well.

As far as how I think the matchup goes, I'd take Gomez to outland Morales, but Gomez to be on the canvas at some point during the fight. I think with fighters of this nature, a brawl would undoubtedly come about, and Gomez(much like Barrera) would land the better shots, especially inside. I'd take Gomez in a close decision, though he may hit the canvas at some point. Would be a barn-burner for sure.
