We can argue all we like about who was best out the 3 but just look how great Heavyweights used to be only 10 years ago!!

i'm not a brit. i picked Lewis. he really did the right thing by getting out while he was on top. the other two have tarnished careers now.

I voted Holyfield because of the level of competition he fought. Tyson would have to be last because he lost to the best fighters he fought. Tyson got knocked out by Lewis and Holyfield so I don't see how Tyson can get the nod over any of the two. Tyson did crush his opponents on his way to the top but most of them tomatoe cans were scared of Mike anyway. And when opponents stood their ground against Mike, Mike had a hard time. Don't forget the way Buster Douglas KO'd Mike. It was brutal to say the least.

I could see why people would vote for Lennox too... but Holyfield's wars with Bowe, Lewis, and Tyson puts him at the top in my opinion. It's all about the level of competition and the fact that Holyfield moved up the heavyweight divsion and became the champ.

Holyfield easily on resume. H2H at peak, I'll take Iron Mike.

Yeah, I don't think you can overestimate the importance of Lewis having the sense and class to get out while still on top, after beating all challengers- including Holyfield and Tyson, and decisively at that. I'm so glad he's never bowed to the pressure to return to the ring and suffer the inevitable SRL comeback embarrassment.
Oh, and I'm American too, so no Brit bias.

Tyson had the most impact on the sport.
Lewis has the best resume and I believe is the best H2H.
Bull**** aside, past their prime or not, Lewis is 3-0 against the other 2.
Holyfield and Tyson both tarnished their images by sticking around too long and/or not taking fighting seriously as they should have (Tyson)

Lewis is the greatest. I think this is clear. He beat every man he faced. He took on all comers and never ducked anyone. He beat the other two. He retired on top.

    Holyfield is next.

    Tyson is last.

In his prime 4 prime Tyson beats the both of them, career achievements, I have to go with Lewis, Holyfield fought the toughest opposition.

    No he didn't.

If you really think so then who was this great competition?
