    1.Pernell Whitaker
    2.Manny Pacquiao
    3.Roy Jones Jr
    3=Julio Cesar Chavez
    3=Bernard Hopkins
    6.Floyd Mayweather Jr
    7.Oscar De La Hoya
    8.Shane Mosley
    9.Mike Tyson

    Can't be bothered deciding on a 1-3 for Jones, Chavez and Hopkins so have made them all joint 3rd.

    So Jones beat more ATGs than Chavez? Also Whittaker has more ATGs?

    Chavez resume is pretty damn good. If you wanna be critical of resumes Pacs can be broken down to look pretty bad due to Arums and Roachs great matchmaking. Roach always goes for guys showing weakness and decline.

    Very good list except I'd have Trinidad ahead of Mosley

    In terms of skill, floyd has been the most skillful in the last 25 years, and the greatest boxer

    1. Pac - resume matters most
    2. RJJ - thin resume especially considering talent
    3. Pea - same as above. Top 10 ATG defensive skills but product of the time when it comes to resume.
    4. Mayweather - same as above but with no JCC level win
    5. Holyfield - took on everyone
    6. JCC - minus Pea his resume is OK. Long reign and underrated skillset
    7. BHop - long reign
    8. MAB/JMM/EM - yeah

    9. Everybody else

    Manny and Roy are both drug cheats. Not a very subjective list is it, Popkins?

    The Tyson that fought Spinks in 1988 was such an freak of nature. That I have to accept him as the best of the last 25 based on pure 'inner potential'.
    Roy Jones is a close second.

    I laugh at anybody who picks Whitaker. He was the most gunshy and negative ''cattanachio'' boxer that i've ever seen.

    De la Hoya was a great fighter but I think he can be a little overrated by some

    Its GOTTA be Pernell! Manny- while having victories over a lot of great names, is fighting them past their prime.

    A win against todays Oscar isnt as honorable as Pernell's fight against Oscar. Roy COULD have had the best of- but he ducked the big resume builders. Pernell had a HUGe reign as champion and held belts way longer than Pac or Mayweather even. And he unified the lightweight belts...

    Head to head I have pernell beating Mayweather and Pac as well-
