  1. like gerry cooney and bert cooper.
they were not tomato cans, the were good boxers.
and foreman was old. anyway prime michael moorer was a better victory than shot jones or winky.
archie is my second best old boxer. but michael moorer was better victory than any victory of old archie. and old foreman was more competent against prime holyfield. moore was destroyed by patterson, marciano and a green ali. honestly prime holyfield 91 would beat patterson, marciano and even a green ali in 1962.

You said Archie Moore was destroyed from Heavyweights and he was lightheavyweight. What about his win over Durelle when he was 45,he destroyed Durelle with speed and power and Foreman was outboxed by Moorer.Archie Moore drawed with future lightheavyweight champion Willie Pastrano whe he was 48 years old and many experts said that he won that fight.George Foreman was great but Moores performance was better he was very fast and powerfull at old age.He lost fights at heavyweights but he was great in his naturaly light heavyweight division. And whe Moore is compared with Hopkins, there is big diference in ways they won their fights.Moore never hold his opponents.Hopkins said that he has oldtimers style, with so much holding no way he has style of oldtimers like Archie Moore.Dont get me wrong,Foreman was great,Hopkins is great,Dick Tiger was great, also Glen Johnson,Joe Walcott...but for me Archie Moore is number 1.

Tarver, Wright, Pavlick and Jones Jr are all very solid wins after 40. And you keep mentioning that foreman did well against holyfield. ok, then i'll mention the split decision hopkins had with calzaghe (a great fighter). and also most people had hopkins beating taylor, another split decision from their frist meeting. so those are 6 overall good performances past 40. and he's not finished yet. he should be able to beat pascal and that would make for 7. foreman did very well past 40 but i don't feel his old man resume matches the amount of solid wins that hopkins is accumulating.

Good point. Archie was all brains in that one trying to handle slick Willie at almost 50 years.

  5. the facts are foreman knocked out moorer and moorer was better than durelle. is not matter if moore was a lhw, he fought in the hw because he wanted. you can tell me 100 histories... moorer was outboxing george blabla.... the facts are moorer did beat holyfield, he was in his prime , he is one of the best lhw of all time , he was champ in 2 divisions and old foreman knocked him out, evander hoylyfield in his prime would beat any rival of archie in his complete career(marciano, patterson and green ali included), and foreman was competent against him, archie was destroyed by these 3 men.. the facts are facts. foreman was greater old boxer than archie moore.

  6. calzaghe a great fighter? lol, just lol. and still bernard lost.
hopkins did beat a shot jones, roy jones did beat him in his prime.
tarver and winky are good boxers but nothing compared with prime michael moorer. i am not saying that bernard was bad in his 40s, he was good, simply foreman was better.

    :rofl Bull****.

But if you want to go that route. Lets start with comparing Moorer to Hopkin's names:

Michael Moorer top 5 wins: 1

Evander "Heart attack in the ring" Holyfield

Kelly Pavlik top 5 wins: 3

    Jermain TaylorX2
    Edison Miranda

Ronald Wright top 5 wins: 4

    Shane Mosleyx2
    Felix Trinidad
    Bronco McKart

Antonio Tarver top 5 wins: 6

    Eric Harding
    Montell Griffin
    Reggie Johnson
    Glen Johnson
    Roy Jones x2

So I guess you must have been the only persion THAT impressed with Moorer's close win over a poor looking Holyfield.

So in your world...Moorer beat Holyfield...that Holyfield would beat Marciano, Patterson, and Muhammad (3 fights away from Liston) Ali.

    Here goes:

    Moorer
    Holyfield
    Ali, Marciano, Patterson.

If only people at the time realized the greatness of Moorer/Holyfield and just shut up about Evander's poor health that briefly forced him into retirement. They just didn't know that version of Evander beats THE GREATEST!

  11. the facts are holyfield would beat all them ****ing idiot!!! and moorer was better than pavlik, winky, or tarver HANDS DOWN!!!

YOU CAN BEAT 200 CONTENDERS, IF I BEAT A GUY WHO IS BETTER THAN ALL THEM I HAVE MORE MERIT

You think Tommy "Gun" Morrison was as good a boxer as Calzaghe?

  13. really you are a clown simply, evander holyfield 91 who faced foreman would **** in the face of patterson and marciano, and he would beat the green ali 62, this green ali was down even by cooper, prime evander would beat him for sure. And archie WAS DESTROYED BY them. Foreman did beat michael moorer.
Prime vs prime ali wins, but archie never faced a prime ali.
    Clown!!!

  14. of course

    Your are awesome.

-Yeah, I'm sure the Heavyweight Champion..heart attack or not. wouldn't have much trouble with middleweights like Pavlik and Winky. Maybe they could do it a catch weight.

    -:think
